Construction of the University of Hartford's new Academic Building.

SPECIFIC CHALLENGES: Open concept design from Level 1 through Level 3, which made it difficult to route power and low-voltage systems from one side to the other. Our coordination team developed pathways for raceways below grade and through the underside of walkways, minimizing visible conduit in finished areas while still achieving the necessary functionality. Similar creativity was required to conceal power and control wiring within lighting installed directly on the surface of exposed structural beams, while preserving both performance and architectural aesthetics.
